New Meetup: "Plan 9 From Outer Space" RiffTrax LIVE

Announcing a new Meetup for The Brooklyn Rifftrax/MST3K Meetup!
What: "Plan 9 From Outer Space" RiffTrax LIVE
When: August 20, 2009 8:00 PM

The title pretty much says it all. The RiffTrax team will be riffing a colorized version of "Plan 9 From Outer Space" live from a theater in Nashville. The event will be broadcast to participating theaters all over the country at 8:00pm on Thursday, August 20th. More info on that here:

Judging from the list, it's screening all over the five boroughs, but I've chosen the Union Square location as our Meetup spot. However, if you'd prefer to attend the screening with your fellow MSTies in New Jersey or The Bronx, you can do that too.

It looks like there are a bunch of other features thrown in, including live music by Jonathan Coulton, and a secret downloadable short. I urge you to buy your tickets now (they're $14), as they may sell out, this being New York.

P.S. The screening itself begins at 8:00, but I've put the start time at 7:00, since we'll probably want to congregate in the theater queue beforehand.
